Another Nine — Cornelius location signage

Franchise FAQ

The questions we hear most from prospective owners. Don’t see yours? Reach out — we’re happy to talk it through.

What is the Another Nine model?

A 24/7, fully self-service indoor golf facility made up of private Trackman simulator suites. Guests book online, receive an access code, and play on their own — no staff on site.

Is this really semi-passive?

Yes. There’s no staff, kitchen, or inventory. Your day-to-day is keeping the facility clean and inviting and handling local marketing; we handle access, payments, memberships, and 24/7 guest support centrally.

What is A9OS?

Our proprietary operating system for booking, payments, membership management, door access, and remote monitoring — one place to run your location from anywhere.

Do I need golf or franchise experience?

No. The model suits first-time owners and seasoned franchisees alike. What matters most is local commitment and meeting the financial requirements.

What does it cost?

See the Investment page for the current ranges. [Placeholder — all figures pulled from verified FDD numbers.]

What is the guest experience like?

Guests book online and let themselves into a private, elevated Sim Suite that comfortably fits four to five people. Every suite has an in-suite TV with a full sports package, simple touchscreen gameplay, and a relaxed, BYOB-friendly vibe — open 24/7.

What technology powers the suites?

Every suite is built around the Trackman iO, which pairs a high-speed camera with radar for tour-level accuracy. Guests play 300+ world-class courses — including Pebble Beach, Spyglass, and St. Andrews — in 4K, plus practice scenarios, mini games, and league play. Behind the scenes, A9OS runs booking, payments, access, and monitoring.

How does my facility make money?

Guest reservations are the core of the business, supported by memberships, leagues, lessons, equipment rentals, facility takeovers and events, gift cards, and vending — a diversified mix designed to build loyalty and smooth out seasonality.

How long does it take to open a location?

After you sign, we move through onboarding at go-to-market pace: kickoff, real estate and lease, design and construction, training, and grand opening. Timelines vary by market and site, but most locations move from signed agreement to opening over several months. See the full timeline on the Process page.

Do you help with real estate and construction?

Yes. We begin site selection right after kickoff, working with our real-estate partner to locate, validate, and negotiate your lease — then with our architecture partner to standardize design and guide build-out through inspection and install.

What marketing support will I have?

HQ provides the national framework — monthly themes, key messaging, content templates, ad creative, email flows, and a grand-opening launch playbook. You bring local energy: community events, partnerships, and relationships in your market. National consistency, local execution.

How much time will it take to run?

Because the model is semi-passive, most owners manage it alongside other work. Exact time varies by market and number of units.

What support do I get?

Technology platform, 24/7 guest support, brand marketing, operations playbooks, and hands-on launch help.

How do I get started?

Request information, and our franchise development team will reach out to walk you through the process.
